akhirnya dimulai.Untuk tahun ini PKL di adakan di desa poncosari kabupaten BANTUL,YOGYAKARTA.Pemberangkatan mulai tanggal 28 Mei 2009.DAn Jangka waktu PKL yang ditentukan hanya selama 21 Hari dimana dalam waktu tersebut mereka harus menyelsaikan Pengukuran dan Pemetaan 8000 lebih bidang-bidang Tanah.

PKL merupakan tugas akhir yang harus diselesaikan Para MAhasiswa DI-PPK.Dimana semua muara ilmu PEmbekalan seperti Peralatan Survey,Ilmu ukur Tanah,Gambar Ukur dan Pengembalian Batas,Kerangka Dasar Pemetaan,Dan Survey Kadastral Telah selesai semua dikuasai oleh Para Mahasiswa Yang semuanya itu Bermuara pada praktek kerja lapangan tersebut.Seluruh kemampuan yang didapat di STPN harus dikerahkan semua disana.Dimana PKL merupakan Tugas yang cukup berat mengingat Medan yang dihadapi memiliki bentuk tofografi yang berbeda-beda.Selain sebagai Acuan menyelsaikan Tugas Akhir.PKL juga Bertujuan Mengaplikasian Mahasiswa agar dapat berinterksi secara langsung dengan Masyarakat serta menghasilkan Peta Dasar Pendaftaran Yang baik,yang mana jika PDPnya baik maka wilayah yang sudah di petakan itu dapat disertifikatkan.Melihat realitas di lapangan secara langsung yang mana Sebagai Ahli Pratama mengabdi kepada Negara dan memberikan Pelayanan kepada masyrakat.Semoga dengan adanya PKL ini akan berguna bagi para mahasiswa dalam melaksankan kerja sebenarnya kelak sebagai ahli SURVEYOR BERLISENSI.

SEKOLAH TINGGI PERTANAHAN NASIONAL (STPN) Sebagai Sekolah kedinasan yang bernaung di bawah BPN_RI terletak di wilayah Sleman,Yogyakarta berdiri sebagai sekolah tinggi yang sudah "terakreditasi" Yang menerapkan sistem pembelajaran bagi Program diploma I (DI) dan program diploma IV(DIV).



D-I PPK STPN
Undang-undang Pokok Agraria (UU Nomor 5 Tahun 1960) sebagai dasar pembangunan pertanahan mewajibkan pemerintah untuk melaksanakan pendaftaran tanah. Tujuan utama pendaftaran tanah adalah memberikan jaminan kepastian hukum hak atas tanah bagi pemilik tanah terhadap bidang tanah yang dimiliki. Selain itu, pendaftaran tanah juga bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi pertanahan, baik bagi pemerintah maupun masyarakat. Dengan tujuan tersebut, diharapkan pendaftaran tanah dapat mendukung terwujudnya keadilan sosial dan kemakmuran rakyat.
Berdasarkan Peraturan Pemerintah Nomor 24 Tahun 1997, pengukuran dan pemetaan kadastral adalah bagian yang melekat dari pelaksanaan tugas pendaftaran tanah, sehingga pengukuran dan pemetaan kadastral itu sesungguhnya adalah juga dalam rangka melaksanakan tugas pemerintahan di bidang pendaftaran tanah. Dalam pemahaman yang demikian maka Asisten Surveyor Kadastral yang melaksanakan tugas pengukuran dan pemetaan kadastral pada hakikatnya melaksanakan tugas pemerintah di bidang pendaftaran tanah.

Program Diploma I Pengukuran dan Pemetaan Kadastral Sekolah Tinggi Pertanahan Nasional (DI PPK-STPN) didisain untuk menghasilkan tenaga pengukuran dan pemetaan kadastral yang handal. Tenaga dimaksud sangat dibutuhkan untuk mendukung kelancaran pelaksanaan pendaftaran tanah yang dilaksanakan di Indonesia. Penyelenggaraan Program DI PPK STPN didasarkan pada SK Menteri Negara Agraria/ Kepala Badan Pertanahan Nasional Nomor 12 Tahun 1996 dan Surat Direktur Jenderal Pendidikan Tinggi Nomor 1924/D/T/1997. Pengalaman panjang penyelenggaraan pendidikan Program DI PPK tersebut semakin memantapkan STPN berkomitmen menghasilkan tenaga pengukuran dan pemetaan kadastral yang berkualitas.
Program Pendidikan
Program ini diselenggarakan di STPN sebagai satu-satunya Pendidikan Tinggi Pertanahan di Indonesia dan bernaung di bawah BPN RI. Program Diploma I PPK-STPN dirancang khusus untuk menghasilkan Asisten Surveyor Kadastral dengan kualitas:
1. memahami bidang tugas-tugas pengukuran dan pemetaan kadastral sebagai bagian terpadu dari pelaksanaan pengelolaan pertanahan untuk mendukung 11 agenda pertanahan;
2. terampil melaksanakan pengukuran dan pemetaan kadastral, berdedikasi tinggi dan berlandaskan etika profesi;
3. mampu mengoperasikan program aplikasi berbasis komputerisasi untuk pengolahan data dan pembuatan peta kadastral.
Pendidikan Program Diploma I PPK-STPN berlangsung selama satu tahun yang terbagi dalam dua semester, dengan metode pengajaran:
1. kuliah klasikal oleh para dosen dan praktek yang dibimbing oleh para instruktur;
2. diskusi kasus-kasus dalam pelaksanaan pengukuran dan pemetaan kadastral;
3. proporsi teori 40 % dan praktek 60 % ;
4. praktek lapangan di laboratorium desa STPN (17 Desa di Propinsi DIY) secara terpadu dengan peralatan lengkap dalam satu paket kegiatan yang utuh.
Tenaga Pengajar
Penyelenggaraan kegiatan akademik diasuh oleh para dosen tetap STPN dan beberapa dosen dari Teknik Geodesi FT-UGM dengan kualifikasi dalam dan luar negeri.
